Workshop Overview
It is one thing to know your subject and quite another to explain it to someone else!
This highly practical workshop will provide delegates with the skills required to train
others effectively and in a way that motivates them to learn. More than just a
presentation skills course, this workshop will offer details of learning styles and
training methods as well as practical guidance on how to timetable a training event and
keep delegates interested and involved throughout.
Workshop Objectives
After participating in the above workshop delegates will:-
- Be aware of and understand the four different learning styles
- Understand seven training methods and be able to identify when to use each one to
best effect
- Know how to identify the different "delegate personalities" and the best way to
handle and motivate each one
- Have developed methods of controlling delegates in a training environment in a
non-threatening way
- Understand the importance of and how to plan and timetable a training session
- Know how to use body language, voice intonation, pace, etc in order to keep
delegates' attention
- Have picked up a number of tips to use in various training situations eg handling
large groups
Who should attend?
This workshop will be of great benefit to anyone who is new to training and requires
some practical guidance. Experienced trainers will also find it a useful refresher and
an opportunity to discuss and resolve "real life" situations.
