So often it is not what you do but how you do it that makes the difference between
success and failure and this workshop looks at just that. Covering subjects
including assertiveness, effective communication and problem solving, delegates will
pick up new skills to improve their effectiveness at work and to develop stronger
working relationships with colleagues and customers. The workshop has been designed to
encourage delegates to become aware of their own communication styles, to identify how
they can use these in order to achieve positive results and to establish when they need
to stop, think and change their own behaviour to accomplish even more.

and will have developed several assertiveness techniques

skills required to do so
Know the most suitable questions to ask in order to obtain accurate, objective data
Be aware of points to consider when analysing and solving problems and will have
had the opportunity to try new methods of problem solving through experiential
exercises
Understand how to "make their case" when influencing others
